KNOCKED down by car 'GOING HOME FROM SCHOOL ' FATALITY AT MORRINSVILLE [jlY telegraph—own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, FridayKnocked down by a motor-car as he was altomptng to cross Studholme Street, Morrinsville, this afternoon, an eight-year-old scho.olboy, Ernest Heatley, received injuries from which he died on the way to hospital. He was a son of Mr. Bertram Heatley, a linesman /employed by tho Railway Department. The car was driven by Mrs. Dorothy Greenville, the wife of Mr. W. F. Greenville, farmer, of Kereone. On his way home from school with a number of other children, tho boy was crossing Studholme Street near the intersection of Thorp Street. At the approach of the car, Which Was travelling toward Morrinsville from Kereone, the lad hesitated, made as if to run back and then continued on. He was struck by a front mudguard, receiving a fatal fracture of the skull.
