At Ascot recently most of the women wove the practical dress suit, which is the name given to the popular combination of dress and short jacket. Navy blue, ice cream and strawberry cream pink were tho favourite colours. They were worn with white accessories. Tho Ascot hat was smaller than ever before, and beautifully shaped and set a rakish angle.
