LEFT-HANDEDNESS

Sir,—As a woman now 63 years old, and being partly ambidextrous, I can be allowed to air my views on the subject. I use my right hand for knife and fork, eewing, machining, ironing, writing. I use my left hand for ecissors, sweeping, dusting, chopping, carrying, lifting, scrubbing, cooking, tools, spoon. All domestic work, left-hand. I am very quick and active even now, but what I know I have had to learn; it has not come easily- I am below the average in height, small build, and the youngest of four I have four of mv own. None of them showed any disposition to use the le hand Had they done so I should certainly have, trained thc ™ . the right hand for the essential things, such as writing, sewing . knife I think Professor Fitt is right in his. deduction, though there are plenty of clever left-handed people as well as righthanded. Another Left-hander.
