NEW ZEALAND LAMBS
JUDGING IN LONDON Interesting comparisons between the judging of New Zealand lambs at the last Auckland Show and later on the London market are contained in a report received by the Auckland Agricultural and Tastoral Association from W. and R. ' Fletcher, Limited. Each exhibit comprised three lambs, and i of the six pens forwarded to London, that placed first in Auckland was given fifth place, the judge remarking that the three lambs could be called only ' good. The exhibit given second place locally was also placed second in London, while the third awards also coincided. The following awards were made in London: —H. Rhodes, 1; S. Rhodes, 2; Tainui Estate, 3; N. Reid, 4 and 5; J. R. Self, 6. In connection with Mr. H. Rhodes' exhibit, which was not placed locally, the judges said there were two well-matched lambs witli one perfect Down lamb. The pen was outstanding among i those sent.
