FINE PRODUCTION There was A largo attendance in the Otahuhu I'ublic Hall on Tuesday Evening when members of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Young Woiiieh's Bible Class presented the operetta, "Beauty and the Beast.''- Produced under the direction of Mr. W. N. Ingrirn the work of the playdrS attained a praiseworthy standard, and the rendering o! the solos and choruses Were particularly pleasing. I'he Stagifig was carried through With fine effect and all atmosphere realistic to the presentation was hkpgily c&ughfc and maintained. The principal characters were .-—Miss Edna Jones, Vhb played the part of Beauty 5 Miss Zoe FfeaWiley, as Lady Mighty; Miss t Joyce Wilson, &s Lady Lofty; Miss Dorefen Box, as the Baron; Miss Jean Gardiner, as theJefctor; Miss Edna Muller, as the Be&St (later the Prince); Miss lVdy Johfes, as Hobo; Miss Jean McFetridgfs, as HtedJ Miss Cassie Cook, as thfe CouHfe?; Missel J. Morton, J. Douglas, F. Gatmart aftd 0. Kendrick, as huntsmen; and Mi&ses 1. Jones, J. Morton, I. Kendrick, R. Gilmolir and D. Best, as bridesmaids. The accompaniments were ably played by Miss lloie Jenkins.
