The Nazis are demanding the dismissal of the local Chief of Police, owing to his alleged fanatical hatred of Hitlerites. Violence continues throughout Germany. 'A bomb exploded, outside a synagogue at Kiel. Eight bombs wero hurled at the • dwellings of Socialists and Jewish traders in Silesia. BERLIN, Aug. 3 Dr. Goebbels, the Nazi leader, •writing in the newspaper Ancriff, demands that the Government immediately give executive power in the Reich and in Prussia to the Hitlerites, that the Nazi "storm troops" be given the right to arm and be included with the police as auxiliary forces, that the Communist party be suppressed, and thaj, the elected Communist / deputies be debarred from the Reichstag. The article concludes: "We warn the Government against disregarding these demands."
