Sir, —To rid land I owned of tho grass grub I used burnt lime mixed with salt; three pounds of salt to one bucket of lime, and gave tho grub-infested patches a thick dressing with tho lime and salt. No grub that is in the soil likes salt, and mixed with lime" it kills them quickly, I got rid of them in no time by this treatment. A. Heia\
