LANDLORD'S BANKRUPTCY

OWNER OF SEVEN HOUSES SYMPATHY OF CREDITORS The owner of seven houses, Charles Kendrick, settler, of Atkinson Avenue, Ofahuhu, met his creditors before the official assignee," Mr. A. W. Watters, yesterday. Creditors expressed sympathy with bankrupt, and decided to facilitate h.a discharge. Debts were shown at £336 and assets £2014. In his sUilement bankrupt said ho owned four properties at Otnliuhu, on 'which there were seven houses. As a result of the economic depression he had become unemployed. Moreover, he had been unable to collect the rents of his houses. With little or no income he was unable to carry- on, and to- protect his creditors he had filed his petition.
