POLICE COURT CASE
When a charge of receiving an electric lamp and generator, valued at £2, wellknowing it to have been dishonestly obtained, was brought against Charles Robert Hoggard, aged 20, labour&r, in the Police Court on Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to the charge, but later informed the magistrate, Mr. W. B. McKean, that while ho admitted receiving the articles, ho did not know they had been dishonestly obtained. .After questioning by the magistrate, his pica was allowed to stand and the case was adjourned for three months.
