ENDURANCE IN AIR
FIRST ATTEMPT FAILS MRS. BRUCE'S FORCED DESCENT LONDON. Aug. 1 The Hon. Mrs. Victor Bruce, accompanied by her husband, ascended to-day from the Solent in a giant three cngined amphibian, aeroplane, tho City of Portsmouth, in an attempt to defeat the American endurance record of 23 days.
