YESTERDAY'S WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—Thero was a continuation of fine weather yesterday, the wind being light and variable. Tho barometer \v.iß fairly steady and registered 29.90 in. last night Wellington.—After a heavy frost tha weather was fine in Wellington yesterday, with a good deal of sunshine. There was a breeze from 'tho north. Christchurch. — r lhc weather was blight and sunny yesterday, with a light wind from 1 lie north-east. Tho maximum temperature was 49 degrees. Ihe barainetct fell to 29.76 in. and became steady. Dunedin.—Following a heavy fjost the weather was beautifully fine- yest;erday» the sun shining from a cloudless: sky. There was practically no wind. The barometer fell several points and registered 29.95 in. in tho evening. v
