HIKING ON SUNDAY
PROTEST BY CHURCHES The executive of the Queensland Council .of Churches has protested against the proposed organisation of Sunday "hikes." dn the ground that they would desecrate the Sabbath. It agreed to a motion stating that the council viewed with grave concern this latest phase of organised desecration of the Lord's Day, with its possible danger to public morals.
