YOUTH SENT TO BORSTAL A pica' of guilty was entered by Maxwell Ernest Butler, aged 19, labourer when charged before Mr. W. R. McKean S.M., in tlio Police Court yesterday, with unlawfully converting to bis own use a motor-car valued at £2OO, tho property of Eileen P. Nairn. Detective-Sergeant Kelly said that on tho evening <sf July 25 accused entered an unoccupied motor-car, which was parked in* Queen Sireot, and drove it to the Great North Road, Avondale, where ho visited somo friends. He subsequently drove tho vehicle back to tho city. In December last ho was convicted of a similar offence and was sentenced to three months' imprisonment and also admitted to probation, Butler was sentenced to he detained in tho Waikoria Borstal Institution for a period not exceeding 12 months. jik
