PRESENTATIONS
A farewell to Mr. J. H. Terry, wlio is leaving Hamilton after over eight years' service as secretary of the Hamilton branch of the Labour Party, and Mrs. Terry was tendered at a large gathering of friends and supporters of the party on Saturday evening. In making the presentation of an easy chair to Mr. Terry, Mr. A. S. Richards, M.P., paid a tribute to the work of Mr. and Mrs. Terry in the interests of the Labour Party. Mr. L. Mcllvride, of Wellington, secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Sorvants, • presented Mrs. Terry with a framed picture. Before their departure from Pirongia for Fairfield, near Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Grace, who had resided in the district for 32 years, and Miss Grace were entertained at a social in the Pirongia Memorial Hall, where practically every resident of tho district attended. Mr. Grace received a presentation from tho Football Club, arid Miss Grace ono from tho Basketball Clu,b. Mr.' and Mrs. Grace were presented with a set of stainless, cutlery from the sottlers. in appreciation of their long and valued services for tho welfare of tho district..
