Although business in new cars has been dull many used models have changed hands. There has been a small reduction in the number of driving licences issued by the Auckland City Council in the JanuaryJuly period this year, compared with the figure for the corresponding months last year, the totals being approximately 10,000 and 10,900 respectively.
