MUNICIPAL BAND

Another delightful programme was presented by the Auckland Municipal Band under the coriductorship of Mr. 0. Buckley, bandmaster, to an appreciative audicnco at the Town Hall last evening. All the numbers were well received, encores being frequently demanded. Verdi's "Attila,' Itossini's " La Gnzza Ladra" and compositions by Delibes and Strauss were excellently played. Cornet, flute and xylophone solos were given by Messrs. F. Bowes,_ 11. C. McLennan and R. Jackson respectively, each of them responding to well-merited encores. Mr. O. Clieesrnan was the accompanist.
