WEEK-END WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—Changeable weather was experienced during the week-end, the wind being light and variable. Fine sunny conditions on Saturday were followed yesterday by a dull cloudy sky during the day and continuous light rain in the evening. The barometer was falling slowly after mid-day yesterday and registered 29.95 in. last night. \ Wellington.—The weather in Wellington over the week-end was fine. After » frosty night, Saturday was bright and sunny, with a cool northerly breeze. Sunday was warmer with bright sunshine nearly all day. Christchureh.—Frosty nights and warm, sunny days were experienced over the week-end, the thermometer registering 53 degrees on both days. The barometer was falling last evening and registered 29.84 in. Dunedin.—The weather was fine, sunny and mild on Saturday, with a light breeze from the south-east. The barometer was fairly steady and registered 30.00 in. on Saturday night. Yesterday tho weather was fine and mild, with a good deal of sunshine, Tho barometer was steady.
