MATCHES IN AUCKLAND COMPETITION AT MIDDLEMORE HAMILTON BEATS TITIRANGI The second round of the 72 holes net medal competition was played by members of tho Auckland Golf Club at Midd'lemore on Saturday, the weather being perfect and the course in excellent condition. King GLENDOWIE CLUB A bogey handicap was played by members of the Glendowio Golf Club under ideal conditions on Saturday. J. E. Stedman maintained his consistent form to win with a card of 1 up. Glendowio during tho week-end for tho benefit of tho district unemployed funds. Tho links were open to members of !ill clubs. In the morning a four-ball bogey compotition was played and some good scores were registered. Tho winners were C. B. Thomas (5) and C. S. Woods (9) with a card of 7 up. In tho afternoon a mixed foursome medal competition resulted in a win for Mr. and Mrs. D. D. N. McGregor, who returned a card of 101," 24—77. Other cards were: —C. L.
