CHILDREN PRODUCERS
ALL ADULTS EXCLUDED ACTRESS AT TWELVE The Kentish village of West Wickham, near the outskirts of London can be proud of tho fact that it has a play-producing society, which is (conducted entirely by children. Elaine Tudor Davios, the daughter of a local headmaster, is the honorary secretary. She is under 15. So is John Kelly, tho chairman. Ono of its loading members is little EyJcen Collings. She is tho pretty 12-year-old daughter of a local resident. 'While sho is a very capable actress, dancing is her great love. Sho has indeed, been a littlo prima ballerina since the age of 6. When she is a little older, she will be allowed to realise her most fervent ambition—to go on the stage. Entirely without the aid of grownups, tho members of tho West Wickham Children's Play-Produciug Society select their own plays, arrango their own programmes and elect their own officials. No adults are permitted to attend tho meetings of tho society.
