Dear Miss Iforton,—l am writing io tell you about a dear old thrush who sits and pings on the very top of our puriri tree. It sings from a quarter to eeven till halfpast qight. Even on wet days it sings, bo I have drawn a littlo •picture of it.,for yoti. It is not' a bit frightened, for there are no naughty cats to kill it. Our kitten /is not old enough yet to catch birds.
