OBITUARY

MR. ROBERT WEBSTER Tlifi (loath has occurred, after a long illness, of Mr. Robert Webster, a resident of tho Runciman district, and previously of Matakana and To Awamutu. Mr. Webster, who was 65 years of age, was born in Turriss, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and came to New Zealand about 30 years ago. lie resided for about 10 years in Dunedin, where ho took a keen interest in athletic sports. About 20 years ago he settled in the To Awamutu district, becoming a prominent farmer, and taking a leading part in tho affairs of tho district. Threo years ago lie went to live in tho Matakana district, later removing to Runciman. lie is survived by his wife and a family of three sons and fivo daughters.
