SHOP SET ON FIRE THREE MEN FOR SENTENCE [Br TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Friday Three men, William Alexander McKenzie, Thomas Mills Stewart and Stewart Walton Muir, were changed in the Police Court to-day before Mr. H. W. Bundle, S.M., with wilfully setting fire on July 4 to a shop and dwelling owned by McKenzie. Detective Power stated some partlyburned cotton-wool was found among cinders in the shop. The accused in statements admitted the offence, the object being to obtain insurance moneys. The accused pleaded guilty and were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
