EXHIBITION IN CITY 'An interesting exhibition of art, printipally for commercial purposes, was opened by Mr. Albert Spencer last evening at the Druleigh College, Anzac Avenue. The studies are mainly the work of junior students of the college, and a high standard is evident among the specimens selected from the work of about 30 students. The exhibition is being conducted by Mr. A. C. Hipwell, who is in charge of the display. In the past year the students have concentrated largely upon art which can be devoted to commercial uses. Although a few landscapes and still life studies in water-colour are on display, the cojninprcial object of the majority pi the works ig obvioug.
