ACCIDENT TO CYCLIST
FALL IN DESCENDING HILL A painful accident befel Mr. Godfrey, of Coatesville, when . cycling home from Birkenhead about 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening. While descending the Albany side of Cut Hill, the machine got out of control, and Mr. Godfrey was thrown heavily on to the road. Mr. Godfrey was discovered partly unconscious by Messrs. Wilson and Broadbent, of Albany, and was conveyed to the home of Mr. Colson, where his injuries were attended to. Although no bones were broken, Mr. Godfrey received severe injuries to the face, right shoulder, and hip. He was later taken to his home.
