FARMER'S DISAPPEARANCE.

NOTE LEFT BY STREAM: [from our own correspondent.] " TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday. A farmer, Robert Low, aged 63, married, disappeared from his home at Mangatiko this afternoon. Mr. Low left the house to work on his farm' shortly after lunch. He was accompanied by his dog, which later returned home alone.

Mrs. Low and her son-in-law, Mr. Herbert Smith, searched the banks of a stream near the farm' and found Mr. LoVs hat and waistcoat and a note which he had written. The stream was dragged without success. Mr. Low had been in ill-health for tome tim®.
