On October 28 they wrestled a draw with no falls. Walker won the second match on November 15 by one fall. Webb and Tresidder competed for the world s sculling championship, also the date of the Webb-Arnst event ?— I Tresidder rowed Webb on the Wanganui River on February 25, 1908, losing by two and threequarter lengths. Arnst and Webb sculled twice for the title on the Wanganui. In the first race, on December 15. 1908, Webb lost the championship by six lengths, and again on June 22, 1909, lost by three lengths.—Athletic Editor.,
