MORAL QUALITY OF PICTURES.

Sir, —I do not know who is responsible for the screening of pictures at the Winter Show, but I happened to be there on Monday afternoon and what I saw fairly disgusted me. It appeared to be nothing more harmful than a ladies' bathing-dress parade, but the accompanying movements and gestures of these women appeared to contain tho very maximum of evil suggestiveness. Owing to the babel of noises around I was unable to hear what the picture actors and actresses were saying, so was able to •fudge only by what I saw. The hall contained many school children from the country, my own boy among them. Fortunately the latter is too youn<» yet to have his passions aroused by what he saw, but had he been a few years older those pictures would have played the very devil! I want to know how on earth we are going to keep the minds of our boys clean when the country is being over-run with pictures of that character! Parens Iratus. j
