PRESENTATIONS.
A presentation of a crystal rose bo\?l was made on Tuesday by members of t ia staff of the inward goods office at Aucks land to Mr. A. E. Lovell, 'inwards goods clerk, who is retiring after 35 ytsars ser vice with the department. Mr. D. George, who made the presentation, referred to Mr. Lovell's long term of service and sterling .qualities. Mr- ' who joined the Railway Depart in 1897, has been stationmaster at Oree Lane, transport officer at » stationmaster at Papatoetoe an , kohe and passenger agent at AuoJcianu. .
