LETTERS OF SCOTT.
" Thuy will be, one day, found curious, t,hes;i confidential papers," Sir Walter Sc:>tt wrote about his private letter books at Abbotsford. They were acquired by Mr. Hugh Walpolo, and gifted by him to the Scottish National Library. Now Mr, Walpolo does an introduction to a seron>:l selection, which John Murray is about tn publish, from " Sir Walter's Postbag." Nearly everyone seems to have written to Scott, from Royalty down to tho man in russet.
