NEW VENTURE LAUNCHED.
The Mcnowai Gold, Copper and Lead Mines, Limited, Auckland, has been registered, with a capital of ,£50,000, divided into 200,000 shares of 5s each. Its objects are to acquire the Zeehan, Broken Hill, Monowii and other special claims at Waiomo, Thames., from the Waiomo Sulphide Corporation,' together with the milling and t:.-ea;ment plant situated at Pohui Creek, Waicmo, erected in 1930 and valued at £2;>,000. A total of £39,500 was expended since 1829. The directors of the new company are Messrs. I". H. Claxton, W. Goodfellow, T. P. Pountuey, R. S. Thompson, W. C. Motion, J. M. Wilson and J. W. McCoy.
