GROWING ACTIVITY.
EX-KAISER .AND CAVALRY.

Tliie movement tor the restoration of the Hohenzollern monarchy is gaining impetus in Germany. On all sides there is growing activity. , A gathering of cavalrymen at Hanover received with cheers a remarkable message from the ex-Kaiser, and a leader of the Social Monarchist Party in Berlin declared: —"Wjo want a Hohenzollern, not merely as King of Prussia, but as Kaiser."
The ex-Kaiser's message from Doom to the cavalrymen read as follows: "Forward, comrades, for the honour of battle. I hope that all old cavalrymen will .return 'to their ordinary pursuits inspired with the holy duty to fight unceasingly for the restoration of the Fatherland on its old foundations."
"I recall with deep appreciation the achievements of ihe German cavalry in war time.. Their knees and carbines were feared on every front, '"The conduct of the cavalry reflected Frederick tho Great's command that the Prussians must .everywhere attack the enfimy first. Such a victorious spirit strikes down every enemy in war or peace.
"With this proud feeling in their hearts I hope ail old cavalrymen will fight for the restoration of their Fatherland."
The telegram was signed "Wilhelm, 1.E.."
''We are 100 per cent, monarchist. We formed the Bocial Monarchist Party because we were convinced ihat the moment had come for a new step forward," said a leader of tho Monarchist Party in an interview, according to tho Bitrlin correspondent of the Daily Mail. "We are definitely working for tho return of the Hohenzollerns."
The ex-Crown Prince has been privately invited to visit London. He will stay at a West End ho!,el and pay social calls on his pre-wsir friends. It is expected that the ex-Crown Prince will tour England by car, studying industrial problem:?, declares the Cologne correspondent, of the Daily Sketch. He has been long et.ger to visit England. If he accepts the invitation, which is a closely guarded secret, ho will fly in a German air liner.
Tho invitation is a gesture on the part of certain people in England and Germany who are anxious to restore the Hohenzollerns.
