Sir.—Mr. Hickey's method of arguing would be amusing if his unwarranted statements were not absolutely incorrect. Why does he not furnish proof of his contentions by quoting minutes of various transactions referred to in his letters . Of course, no such evidence can bo found in local municipal records, and his charges of faulty administration only exist in his elastic imagination. J. Guinives, Mayor.
