STATISTICS FOR JUNE.
DECLINE FOR SIX MONTHS.
Bankruptcies filed in Auckland during June numbered nine, as against 11 in June, 1931. The total for the first six months of the year is 52, a decrease of four compared with the figures - for the corresponding period last year. Compared with 1030 and 1929, this year's figures represent a considerable decrease. Among Hast month's bankruptcies were two hotelkeepers, two farmers, two labourers, a bailder, a miner, and a contracting firm The classification of the bankrupts filed in the six months to date shows 11 shopkeepers, seven builders, five tradesmen, fiva married women, five contractors, five farmers, five labourers, three garage proprietors, three hotelkeepers, an engineer, a miner, and a widow.
