AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. ST. LUKE'S AND UNIVERSITY. The Auckland Hockey Association's senior championship will be continued to-morrow, when the second series of games will be played. A pood contest should result in the meeting of St. Luke's and University, the match being played at Western Springs at 3.5 o'clock. WAIT A COMPETITIONS. [from our own correspondent.] TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. The "Wcipa Hockey Association's championship competitions were commenced yesterday afternoon in splendid weather. Ramblers defeated "Waratahs, last season's champions, by 4 goals (all scored by B. Gibson) to 2 (G. "Wood and Quinlan). At Paterangi, the home A team drew with the B team, each side scoring four goals. In the junior championship United defeated Huia by 4 goals to 2 and High School A and B teams drew with one goal each.

In the men's competition, True Blues defeated Country by four goals to two, and United beat Rovers by six goals to two. The ladies' competition resulted: —Old Girls, 6, Aretas, 0; Triers, a bye.
