After discharging and loading at. Central Wharf, the Now Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitata is scheduled to sail for Napier and Wellington at noon today to complete h<;r cargo. With passengers and mail the vessel will be despatched for Southampton and London, via Panama, on May 13. AORANGI LEAVES SYDNEY TO-DAY. The Royal Mail liner Aorangi will leave Sydney for Auckland this afternoon with passengers and ms.il from Australia. The vessel is due early on Monday morning and after loading cargo and mail and embarking passengers froai Auckland she will resume her voyage to Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver on Tuesday morning. THE PORT WAIKATO. The Port Waikato arrived at Timaru from Duneding yesterday morning, en route to Lyttelton. Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland. The vessel is due at Auckland next Tuesday and from this port sho will proceed to Whangarei. Hokianga, Dargaville, Port Waikato and Sydney. THE PAKEHA. The Shaw, Savill. and Albion steamer Pakeha arrived at Wellington from London in ballast yesterday. The vessel will load for London at Wellington, New Plymouth, Gisborne and Auckland. She is sche<lu!<\d to reach Auckland on May 8 and to sail for London, via Cape Horn, on May 12. L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., are the local agents. THE TAINUI. A. S. Patorson and Company, Ltd.. have received advice that the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui cleared Southampton on Friday with passengers and mail for New. Zealand and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. The vessel is due at Wellington on May 30 and at Auckland about Juno 5. THE TAIROA. Tho Shaw, SaFill and Albion steamer Tairoa is due at Lyttelton from Glasgow in ballast on May 6 to commence loading in New Zealand for England. The vessel's loading ports are Lyttelton, Nelson, Wanganui and Wellington. She is scheduled to clear Wellington :or Southampton and London, via Cape Horn, on May 18.

VENTURA REPORTS. The Matson Lin© steamer Ventura will arrive from San Francisco and Los Angeles, via Honolulu, Pago Pago and Suva, at six o'clock to-morrow morning, according to her wireless advice. In addition to mail and cargo, the vessel has on board 29 passengers, of whom 10 will land at Auckland, and another 20 passengers will embark at this port. The vessel will resume her voyage to Sydney at five o'clock to-morrow evening. THE GOLDEN CROSS. The American steamer Golden Cross arrived from Loa Angeles yesterday afternoon and berthed at !?rince'a Wharf to unload cargo from Pacific Coast ports. The cargo was loaded at Vancouver, New Westminster, Tecoma, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The vessel sailed irom Los Angeles on April 1 and experienced generally fine weather on tho voyage. She is expected to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Australia this afternoon to complete discharge. Captain W. E. Wurnell is in command, and the following are the officers:—Chief, Mr. N.
