GOOD WORK PERFORMED.; EXPLOSION TROTS SOUNDLY. BRENT ZOLOCIK IMPRESSES* BY ABATDOS. There was a fair amount of fast work at, Epsom yesterday morning, when both tho dirt and cinder tracks were used. Continuing at a solid clip, he finished up his task in 3.2". a very fine performance on tho cinders. Explosion has been showing improve! form in his recent races as a pacer, and the change appears to have made him more solid at tho trotting gait. Brent Zolock (W. Highest, Rangihau (H. Harnett), Princess Th.a (J. S. Shaw) and Dad's Hope t\V. Clifton) went away lor a mile and a-half in tint order, Dad's llopo being slow to strike his straps. Brent Zolock and Bangihau torccd the pace to the mile 111 -.17, where Princess Thea and Dad's Hope moved up handy. In the run home Brent Zolock h ins on to finish just, in front of Prmcess V.'hea and Dad's Hopein 3.27, with Kangihau four lengths further back. Dad's Hopo ran the distance in 3.25. Bonny Drift (il. Smith) started from the mile and a-half post, but the latter, who was unhoppled. broke up and Bonny Drift was eased, but they were together as the mile and a-ouarter post was passed.
