MURDER SUSPECTED.
DAIRYMAN FOUND DEAD. MONEY MISSING FROM BELT. (Received April 2G, 8.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 2fi. A dairyman, Mr. Albert Victor Chaffey, aged 40, was found dead in a yard at the back of his home at Glen Innes, 400 miles north-west of Sydney, with a bullet wound in the rear of the skull. He was apparently shot from behind. A sum of money was stolen from his belt. Mr. Chaffey was, a member of one of the most prominent families in the country. His cousin, the Hon. F. A. Chaffey, is a member of the New South Wales Assembly. Detectives are of the opinion that the case is one of murder.
