WEDDING.
ECCLES—PERCY". St,. John's Presbyterian Church, Papafocloe, made an attractive setting on Monday for the marriage of Miss Hilda M. Percy, only daughter of Mrs. and tho late Mr. G. W. Percy, of Papatoetoe, to Mr. John Ecclcs, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ecclcs, of Flat, Bush Road, Papatoetoe. The Rev. 'J'. H. Roseveare performed the ceremony and Miss Campbell played tho wedding music. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. A. (J. Percy. wShe wore a graceful frock of satin beanie, with tight-fitting sleeves. Her veil of Brussels lace formed a long train and was arranged on the head in a cap effect with a wreath of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of white chrysanthemums. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Kirkbride and Miss Bertha Wyll.ie. Their dresses were of amber georgette made in Elizabethan stylo with frilled coatees and diagonal frills on tho skirts. They wore Juliot caps to match. Janette Rowley was the flower girl and wore a miniature edition of the bridesmaids' dresses. She and the bridesmaids carried bouquets to tone. Mr. Robert Fulton was best man and Mr. D. Thompson was groomsman. A reception was held at the Parnell Kiosk, where Mrs. Percy received in a black georgette and lace ensemble with hat to tone. Mr. Ecclcs wore navy crope do chine relieved with tucks of flesh-col-oured crepe do chine and a navy hat. The bride's girl friends in the Otahuhu Golf Club formed a guard of honour at the church.
