HAMILTON SOCIETY'S SHOW. MANY SPLENDID EXHIBITS. [FROM OUR OWN' CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Tuesday. Tlide v.ms a fine display of blooms at the Hamilton Horticultural Society's chrysanthemum show to-rlny. The society had not held a chrysanthemum show for 10 years. Tho judge, Mr. J. Bateson, snid he considered tho display to bo one of the finest he had seen. The entries were fairly numerous and were received from all parts of the "Waikato. The champion bloom was exhibited by Mr. F. S. Mason, of Te Awamutu. The awards were as follows: Twelve Varieties, open.—H. M. Williams, I. T. F. Richards, 2. Nine varieties: Mrs. 11. Simpson, 1; F. T. Richards, 2. Six varieties: F. S. Mason, 1; Mrs. R. Simpson, T. F. Richards, 3. Three varieties: F. K. Mason, 1 and 2: Mrs. R. Simpson, 3. Single bloom: F. S. Mason, 1; Mrs. R. Simpson, 2 and 3. Bowl of chrysanthemums: Mrs. A. G. Downes, 1; Mrs. E. T. Jones, Mrs. H. Coles, ;i. Vase of chrysanthemums: Mrs. A. G. Downes. 1 and 2. Six decorative blooms: T. F. Richards, 1. One plant, growing: Mrs. A. G. Downes, i and 2: W. Baker, 3. Novice Classes.—Six blooms: A. Knapp, 1 ; Miss Jessio Thompson. 2; "W. F. McDonald. 3. Three varieties: A. Knapp, 1 and 2; S. Handley. 3.
