CHOICE OF SUPERINTENDENT. Applications for the position of medical superintendent of tlto Auckland Hospital, rendered vacant by the resignation of Dr. G. E. Maguiro, wore considered at a special meeting of tlie Auckland Hospital Board yesterday. ]t was decided to refer tlie applications, numbering 38, to a committee for reduction to 12.
