ASSAULT VICTIMS.
DEATH OF HUSBAND. WIFE'S CRITICAL CONDITION. (Received April 25, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 25. The death occurred at midnight on Saturday of Mr. Victor C. Saywell, solicitor, who, with his wife, was brutally assaulted in their home at Bellvuc Hill, Sydney. Mrs. Saywell is still unconscious and little hope is held out for her recovery. The police arc guarding the residence.
