MINISTER FAREWELLED.
[FROM Ol'R OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA, Sunday. There was a large gathering in the Baptist Hall on Friday evening to farewell the Rev. J. Ewen Simpson, who has accepted a call to tho Colombo Street Baptist Church, Christchurch. Appreciative reference was made by the Mayor, Mr. B. C. Robbins, and the clergymen of tho various churches to the splendid work accomplished bv Mr. Simpson during his four years' stay in Truiranga. Presentations were made from the Baptist congregation and the Baptist Boys' Club.
