POWER BOARD'S YEAR.
OPERATIONS AT TAURANGA. [from our own correspondent. ] TAURANGA, Sunday. A review of the board's operations during the past financial year was given by the chairman in a report presented at a meeting of the Tauvanga Electric-Power Board on Friday. The report stated that during the hist three years the revenue from the salo of current had increased, in spite of reductions granted and the loss of the flaxmill load, from £20.410 in (lie year ended March, 1920. to £23,374 in the year ended March, 1932. During the past year the increase amounted to £1283, and he considered the result to be very satisfactory. Hie profit during the past year amounted to over £I7OO.
