DEATH SENTENCE.

JAPANESE EXTREMIST. ATTACK ON MR. HAMAGUCHI. (Received April 23, 12.25 a.m.) TOKIO, April 22. Sagoya, who in November, 1930, shot the Prime Minister, Mr. Hamaguchi, was sentenced to death at the conclusion of his trial to-day.

On November 14, 1930, Mr. Hajnagnchi •was about to enter a train at Tokio to attend military manoeuvres, -when he was phot by Sagoya. The bullet penetrated the lower part of his body. Mr. Hamagnchi suffered severely. After some of his son's blood had been transfused into him, Mr. Hamaguchi was carried to a hospital, where he was operated upon and made a slow recovery.
