TOUR OF DOMINION. ' NEW ZEALAND SECRETARY. [from our own cor respondent. ] LONDON. March 15. The Sybil Thorndike Company, which is Sue in New Zealand toward the end of the year, is going to Australia and New Zealand under the production of J. C. .Williamson, Limited, in association with the Cheniavsky Bureau of London.

New Zealanders may bo interested to know that the latter organisation, which manages concert and theatrical tours, has as its directors the two wellknown brother musicians, Leo Cherniovsky and Alex Cherniavsky. At present, the former is looking after the business affairs of the bureau while the latter is in South Africa as impressario for Galli Curd, aid next be will take Jascha Heifeitz through. Alex. Chcrniavsky will arrive at Perth from.South Africa, however, in time to join the Thorndike Company, and will be with them throughout their ■Australian and New Zealand tour. When flie company arrives in Canada subsequently, Leo Chcrniavsky wil meet them and through with them. T hero is a further additional New Zealand interest in tiie tour on its management £ ' ( le, as Mjss Katherino Mcintosh, Associate 'Jiinity College London (whose home is in Dcmedin), has been chosen to go the I'horndike Company through 'Australia, .New Zealand, and Canada in a secretarial capacity. For sonic months past, she has been secretary 10 tbe Chcrniavsky Bureau, and the position of traveling secretary was offered her by Mr. Leo C'heiniavsky. She has been studying at the Roval College of Music under rofessor (>an Price Secretarial expel ience acquired in New Zealand as well as in England, and a working knowledge 0 languages, have stood her in good Stead.
