ARE WOMEN'S' FEET LARGER?
Are women's feet growing larger? The mere layman would hesitate 10 make such a. suggestion, but the insinuation is put forward by Dr. <T. T. Irving, of the Physiology Department of Bristol University, in the Lancet • lie points out that at an exhibition of period costumes dating from 1870, recently held at Bristol, it was found that none of the women visitors could wear the shoes corresponding with the earlier dresses. . He puts forward the view that exercise and a healthier mode of living are responsible for the change.
