AMERICAN MOTORIST'S DEVICE.

American tourists travelling outside their own State have a map of their home State on the radiator of the car. The map is painted on the front of tho radiator, red or black being used for tho borders, and white, or some other contrasting colour, for the map itself. Drivers and traffic, policemen thus easily identify a car by the radiator where they might have difficulty in observing the number plates.
