REMARKABLE BUTLER.

" TOO HANDSOME TO WORK." Mention of a butler who was so goodlooking that people did not think ho could work was made in a caso at a London court, when a firm of tailors sued Miss Marguerite Munroo for £l2 17s for suits supplied to a butler named J. K. Taylor in her employ. In her defence Miss Munroc —a manageress of service flats—said that she did not order the clothes, but called at tho tailors becauso Taylor asked her to prove to them he was employed by her. " 1 engaged Taylor out of pity," Miss Monroe slated, " because he told mo he was down and out and had been sleeping out. lie stated lie had been butler to titled people, but that now nobody would employ him as lie was so good-looking that people did not think he could work." Taylor, she added, went: soon after getting the clothes, and left £1 toward tho payment. Judgment was entered for Miss Munrc.j with costs.
