LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

The monthly meeting of the Epsom branch of the League of Mothers was held 011 Thursday. There were 45 members present and (ho president, Mrs. Fred. Wilson, presided. Mrs. Wilson spoke of the wish of the Lady Alice Fergusson for the linking up of the Scottish and New Zealand branches and Mrs. Hazard was elected as correspondent with ;i Scottish branch of (lie Mothers' Union. Mrs. Mitchell gave the " Thought for the Month" in t,ho form of a few minutes' talk upon " Our Oneness in Christ." This wus followed by a song from Mrs. Killip. Mrs. Wilson introduced Mrs. English, who gave a most delightful account of her visit two years ago to the Oberammergau Passion Play. Mrs. English was listened to with deep interest, and at the close M rs. W. Gummer gave a pianoforte solo. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Pare, Smith, Churches and Fenton.
