WEDDING.

GRIGG—HARPER. A unique feature of a wedding which took place this weef was provided by a squadron of aeroplanes which flew over St. Luke's Church at Glentunnel, where the marriage was solemnised of Nancy Bruce, younger daughter of Mrs. Edmund Harper, of Whitecliffs, and the late Mr. Edmund Harper, Wiiau, and great granddaughter of the lat ?. Bishop Harper, and Donald Edward, eldest son of Mi', and Mrs. Edward Grigg, Marlborough. The bridegroom is a prominent aviator and member of the Marlborough Aero Club. The aeroplanes which left Sockburn consisted of machines from both the Aero Club and Air For:e. Ihe Rev. A. H. Barnett, of Homebush, officiated. The bride, who was givdn away by her grandfather, Mr. George Harper, wore a longsleeved gown of pirchment satin tinged with pink. The long sleeves were tucked to match the bodice, which was moulded to the figure with rows of tiny tucks forming points back and front from which the skirt fell in soft folds to the ground. Her embroidered veil of palest pink tulle was held in place by a circlet of pearls across the front md by sprays of tiny orange blossom burls at the back. She carried an armlet cf pale pink carnations and begonias. Tie bridesmaid, Miss Patty Grigg (Blenheim), sister of the bridegroom, wore an attractive sleeveless frock of begonia-pink satin, made on simple lines with a finely-pleated panel back and front and inset flared side panels. The high waist-line was finished with a stitcher] belt and diamante buckle. Attached to her shoulders was a short velvet pelerire to match her frock, with an upstanding collar. She carried a bouquet of shaded pink begonias and wore a wreath of pink geraniums in her hair The flower -sjirl, Pamela Hutclnnson ' niece of the bride, wore an anklelength frock of silk spotted net the same shade as the bridesmaid s. She carried a nosv of shaded begonias and a wreath of pink geraniums in her hair. ~ Ihe bri efjroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Roeer Grigg, as test man, and Messrs. A A and J. W B. Hutchinson were ushers. After the ceremony a reception wis held at Steventon, the home of the bride's uncle, Mr. 0. B Starky.
